Return Policy

Lightingful is committed to offer our customers a delightful experience when shopping in our on-line store. If any items don’t meet your expectation, you can return the item(s) within 30 days of your receipt date for a refund, exchange or replacement.

Step 1: Preparing for your return

  • Original receipt

Original receipt must be presented with a return item. A refund will be processed to the original method of payment indicated on the receipt.

  • Original condition & packaging

A return item must be in its original condition and with its original packaging (unused, undamaged and with all parts).

Step 2: Shipping your return

  • Shipping cost

Shipping costs associated to a return are non-refundable except it is the result of an error by Lightingful. An order that received free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund (if applicable).

  • Trackable shipping service

A return item is in customer’s responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore, we recommend using a shipping providers with tracking capabilities or shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your return item.

Step 3: Inspecting your return

  • Time

Once a return is received by Lightingful, please allow up to 5 business days to inspect the item and process the return.

Step 4: Complete your return

    A full or partial refund* will be issued to the customer based on the inspection result of the return item’s condition. All returns are subject to our inspection and manager's approval.

      Damaged goods

      Please make a written note if shipping damage is found when signing for your package. Damaged goods must be reported to us within 24 hours at support@lightingful.ca with photos. 

      Lightingful will provide a Full Refund (including all shipping costs) or send out a Replacement at no cost for any damaged goods that is result of our error.

      Defective goods

      For a merchandise which has manufacturer defect, Lightingful will provide a Full Refund (including all shipping costs) or send out a Replacement at no cost.

      Non-Returnable items (NO REFUND; NO EXCHANGE; NO REPLACMENT):

      • Any item without original receipts
      • Any item that is not in resalable condition and not in the original packaging
      • All sales items; Inventory clearance items
      • Any item was damaged during installation process
      • Any item that has been assembled, installed, modified or used in any conditions
      • Shipping, handling, assembly and installation services fees (if applicable)

      Cancellation

      • If an item is shipped, no cancellation will be processed
      • If an item has not been shipped, cancellation can be processed by emailing us at support@lightingful.ca

      Lightingful reserves the rights to refuse a refund, exchange or replacement on an item.

       

      *Partial refund

       - Any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts not due to our error

       - Any item that is returned more than 30 days from the original receipt date
